Rhonda Williams – Certified Personal Trainer & Joint Mobility Expert
Rhonda has been a Certified Personal Trainer for the past four years. Her extensive fitness training and education is diverse to include Certificate of Completion, Fitness Instruction California State University Hayward, Hayward, CA.She has completed courses in Anatomy, Biomechanics , Exercise Physiology, Exercise Nutrition, Sports Injuries and Prevention, Strength Training, Designing Fitness Programs, Personal Training and Exercise Programs for Special Populations.

Stress Relief – 28 Day Stress Relieving Program…where your stress no longer controls you!
A Mind-Body Approach to stress where you will learn tools to thrive and not just survive. We regularly experience stress and hear about the harmful effects of stress. However, relatively little gets shared, about what are the healthy ways we can handle everyday hassles and major life challenges. And how can a mind-body approach to stress can interrupt, prevent and reverse the effects of stress and leading to thriving, not just surviving, in life.
h3. This immersion into a mind-body approach to stress will explore…
• What is stress really and how do you respond to stress?
• What does it mean and how can you live well with stress?
• What makes some people resilient to everyday stress?
• How can you ease chronic dissatisfaction and be productive?
• Why do some people seem to experience transformational growth in response to stress?
Along the way, western and eastern principles, evidence, and practical strategies for thriving in the face of both ordinary and extraordinary stress will be presented, discussed and practiced. Some of the practical strategies included in this immersion are: hardiness thinking, relaxation, mindfulness, movement, expressive writing, and social support.
In addition to the in studio experience this immersion includes…
• An at home stress reduction practice with each session.
• Stress reduction information to share with family and friends.
• A personal consultation to develop a personal stress reduction practice.
About the facilitators…
Monica Hanson, RYT, IAYT
She is a graduate of Duke University, Integrative Medical Center, Therapeutic Yoga Program and is trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She leads group yoga and meditation classes and works with people one-on-one to develop personalized health and healing programs. Monica specializes in mind-body approach to stress and chronic conditions in which stress is a risk factor, such as heart disease, chronic pain, digestive problems, sleep problems, anxiety, obesity and depression.
In 2008, Monica was named to a team of health and wellness professionals at Ohlone College Health Sciences, to develop and implement an 8-week lifestyle intervention based on a mind-body approach. The program, Ohlone FIT, was made possible by a grant from Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Paul Miller
Paul started his spiritual quest in his late twenties by questioning his current spiritual beliefs after his Catholic father told him that religion was belief without question. During the subsequent years he obtained his Doctorate in Electronic Engineering and then in 2004 he took four months off from his job in Silicon Valley to concentrate on finding himself. What he found was a lot more than he could have imagined; it was to change his life completely. As part of this Spiritual Quest, he took up Hatha Yoga and meditation. During this reflective four-month period, ideas started to surface along with questions. He was introduced to Delphi University in Georgia where he discovered his latent intuitive and healing abilities. Since then he has gone on to use this gift to obtain a Doctorate in RoHun, and now runs a meditation and healing practice.
